My Journey: From Rock Bottom to Rebirth

Breaking free from alcohol, reclaiming my health, and building a life I love.

The Evolution of Me

My name is Justine Santowiak, though some of you may also know me as Justine Whitchurch.

After the dissolution of my marriage, I felt a deep pull to return to my birth name. It wasn’t just a name—it was the identity of the young girl who once dreamed of everything I’ve built today. There was unfinished business, and I knew I had to reclaim the version of myself who first believed in it all.

One of the greatest gifts sobriety has given me is the confidence to embrace change without fear. I no longer stay stuck in a life that doesn’t fit. Instead, I move forward with clarity, purpose, and the courage to evolve.

At 51, I know for certain—you are never too old, and it is never too late.

The Turning Point

For years, I lived with a bottle chained to my leg. I was stuck, lost, and exhausted by the endless cycle of drinking, regret, and self-destruction. I knew something had to change, but the idea of sobriety felt impossible.

Then, one day, I made the decision to choose ME. To break free from the version of myself that was barely surviving and build a life where I could truly thrive.

I let go of alcohol. I committed to fitness. I worked on healing not just my body, but my mindset. And little by little, I built a foundation strong enough to hold the person I had always been meant to be.

The Transformation

Health, fitness, and the continuous work around the selfs—self-confidence, self-belief, self-worth, and self-discipline—became my foundation. And I realized something powerful:

All of it begins with self-love.

When you love yourself enough, you make choices that align with your best life. You step into your full potential. You stop settling for anything that dulls your light.

Sobriety is not about giving something up—it’s about gaining everything.

The Mission

My journey is not just about me. It’s about all of us.

I am committed to:

Making NOT drinking NORMAL

Changing the bullying culture around abstinence

Promoting alternative coping mechanisms through a foundation of wellness

I want to show you what’s possible when you create a life where you naturally don’t want to drink. A life where you feel stronger, happier, and more alive than ever before.
